Description

A rich and hearty pasta dish featuring tender shells, seasoned ground beef, and a velvety cream sauce, perfect for an impressive dinner.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 oz medium pasta shells (uncooked)
  • 1 lb ground beef (lean for lighter option)
  • 1 medium onion (finely chopped)
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream

Instructions

  1. Cook pasta shells in salted water until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, brown ground beef over medium heat. Add chopped onion and cook until translucent and beef is browned. Drain excess fat if needed.
  3. Stir in beef broth and heavy cream. Simmer on low heat, stirring occasionally, until slightly thickened. Season with salt, pepper, and optional thyme.
  4. Add cooked pasta shells to the skillet, toss to coat evenly in the sauce. Heat through for 2-3 minutes. Serve hot, garnished as desired.

Notes

Use lean beef to reduce grease and fresh cream for a richer taste. Slightly undercook pasta for better texture in the final dish.
