Description

This one-pot Beef Pasta is a quick, hearty meal perfect for busy parents. Packed with flavor, ready in under 30 minutes, and made with pantry staples – it’s a weeknight dinner win!


Ingredients

  • 8 oz pasta (penne or rigatoni)
  • 1 lb lean ground beef
  • 1/2 sweet onion, chopped
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 1/2 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1 (15 oz) can marinara tomato sauce
  • 1 cup shredded parmesan cheese

Instructions

  1. Boil a large pot of salted water. Cook pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Sauté chopped onion for 2–3 minutes until soft. Add garlic and Italian seasoning, cook for 1 minute.
  3. Add ground beef, cook for about 5 minutes until browned, breaking it up as it cooks. Drain excess fat.
  4. Stir in marinara sauce and simmer for 8 minutes. Season with salt and pepper.
  5. Add cooked pasta and parmesan cheese. Stir for 2–3 minutes until cheese melts. Serve hot.

Notes

Use penne or shells for better sauce hold. Add red pepper flakes for spice or mix in veggies like bell pepper or spinach for a nutrition boost.
